At ZA Construction, LLC, we are committed to safety – both for our employees and our customers. We provide a comprehensive training program for our new employees as well as ongoing training for our current employees. ZA Construction, LLC recognizes the potential for injuries due to the hazardous nature of the construction industry. It is our goal to minimize, with the ultimate overall goal to completely eliminate, any accidents on the job site. In order to do this, our employees are trained by certified trainers on all industry specific standards. All employees are E-Railsafe verified and trained on FRA 214, On Track Safety and Railroad Maintenance Machinery.
Safety on the job site starts with ongoing safety inspections and maintenance on the specialized fleet of vehicles and equipment. Our maintenance director and staff are committed to keeping our fleet in the best working condition possible to insure not only continued operation, but a safe operation. GPS systems are utilized in our mobile vehicles and monitored on a continual basis.
Job sites and job requirements are assessed prior to the deployment of employees to the job. Each employee is instructed in the safest way to accomplish their job and is provided with the necessary equipment and training to carry out these instructions.
Management attends several safety-focused meetings throughout the year sponsored by our insurance provider, Southern Construction Group, LTD. We gain new tools and tips from the other participants as they share their experiences and successes in maintaining a safe work environment. ZA Construction, LLC welcomes suggestions from our peers as well as from our employees who are physically on the job site.
